Brunette ponytail Barbie doll #7 from 1963. She is wearing a red jersey swimsuit #850. These were the only ponytails to come in the red swimsuit. Back side is marked: T.M. Midge (c) 1962 Barbie ® © 1958 by Mattel, Inc. Patented. (In 1963 added the word “Patented”). It appears to be a mark I7 on her other buttock. Bottom of foot says Japan. Full lips and nails are pink. Hair has bangs and is a bit matted. The doll comes with an original box that has suffered a bit and the 1962 catalog: “Barbie and Ken and Barbie´s Best Friend Midge”.
