A red striped pinafore Mari Essu dress by Marimekko from 70´s. The original dress is designed by Liisa Suvanto in 1969 and it´s name was “Liisan jouluessu” (Lisa´s Christimas Dress). The fabric “Piccolo” was designed by Vuokko Nurmesniemi in 1953. The dress features large front patch pockets, ruffled sleeves and hem and it fastens with metal buttons from top to bottom in the back. Made of 100 % cotton. The dress does not include a belt. A couple of holes the size of a pinhead in the fabric. See photos.
